NSW: Two teenagers found safe and well

SYDNEY, April 8 AAP - Two teenagers missing overnight in northern Sydney bushland havebeen found safe and well, police said.

The brother and sister, aged 15 and 16, left their north Wahroonga home for a bikeride yesterday afternoon in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, but failed to return.

A police spokeswoman said the pair walked out of the bush this morning, wet and cold,but unharmed.

A massive search was launched this morning but the two teenagers wandered back towardstheir home, having been unable to find their way out of the park in the dark.

Police said the teenagers did the right thing by staying put until first light.

"They made their way out of the park under their own steam," the police spokeswoman said.

"They're wet, they're cold, but they're quite safe and well."
