NSW: Police culture not corrupt: Moroney

NSW Police Commissioner KEN MORONEY says corruption in the state's police service has
diminished over the last decade.

But he's told Southern Cross Broadcasting it's important not to be complacent.

A confidential report prepared for NSW police .. says officers who complain about corruption
are being harassed by senior police .. denied promotional opportunities .. transferred
against their wishes .. and given menial jobs.

Mr MORONEY says the culture of corruption within the police has diminished since the
Wood Royal Commission a decade ago .. and every complaint is investigated.
