FED:Telstra concerns won't hold up NBN: ACCC

The competition watchdog says concerns over Telstra's blueprint for the structural
separation of its retail and wholesale arms shouldn't delay the National Broadband Network
rollout.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is worried that the telco has no
compliance plan for its commitment to structurally separate the two arms from 2018 and
Chairman ROD SIMS says there's some serious work to be done.

Mr SIMS has told ABC Radio it's something that's capable of resolution, and shouldn't
hold things up, but he's warned if the ACCC doesn't accept Telstra's plan, the telco may
have to go back to the drawing board.
